Dr. Syed Tipu Sultan and his dedicated team came forward in the year 1986 and with their untiring efforts finally they succeeded in making the constitution of the society on 21-10-1986.
At that time Dr. S. T. Sultan was the President, Dr. Rehana Kamal was the Vice President and Dr. Sajida Ahmad was the General Seceretary
Also the formal Registration and Recognition of Pakistan Society of Anaesthesiologists with WFSA was done in the same year.
