To deliver the optimal, to achieve the maximum and to aim the highest are the qualities of a leader and PSA has always taken a lead in holding CMEs, clinical courses, workshops, seminars and conferences. The tireless efforts and dedication which all colleagues in PSA had put in to bring it to the height of excellence, has been evident in the huge success of 40th Annual Conference of PSA held recently after COVID-19 pandemic. The perseverance of all executive members for the improvement of education in Anaesthesia, Critical care and Pain management and vision for evidence-based practice has resulted in bringing back the essence of PSA after two years. The active involvement of younger colleagues in the Conference was a proof that Anesthesia fraternity does not believe in boundaries and joyously involves Anaesthesiologists of every level.

I feel privileged to congratulate the members and every Anaesthesiologist to have marked the Fifty Years of integration, solidarity, and academic growth. Year 2022 is also phenomenal in achieving yet another milestone under the PSA banner and that is the extension of the Society in the form of International Chapter. Wishing the PSA International Chapter holders very best of luck and looking forward to having the active participation and support of every institute associated with PSA nationally and internationally.
